After Leeds manager Steve Evans heaped praise onto Leeds full-back Lewie Coyle in midweek, it seems as though his contract has been extended.
United offered Coyle and many other academy players one year deals in the summer. It turns out Coyle has really impressed Paul Hart and Steve Evans, and their demands have been met.
The news came from Coyle's brother on Twitter:
Leeds fans will be pleased to see this news be officially released as that is another promising academy player coming through the ranks.
Lewie Coyle plays at right-back however, Evans admitted he may have to go out on loan this season as he is United's fourth choice in that department.
