Leeds In Contact With Sunderland Over Swedish Midfielder

THIS JUST IN! According to reports in Sweden, Leeds are trying to sign Sunderland midfielder and Swedish International, Sebastian Larsson on loan.

There are no further details on the deal as of yet. Whether the move will be made permanent, who knows? But Larsson is contracted to Sunderland until the summer of 69'. No actually till Summer of 2017.

The experienced central midfielder is well known for his specialist free kicks, he has a whip on him alright! Could come in handy at Elland Road. After all, Larsson has only played 380 minutes of football this season so surely he must be keen to get some game time under his belt?

His wages however, must be difficult for Leeds to afford. After many years in the Premier League, he must be on a chunky amount. Now why would Steve Evans want a player who Leeds don't particularly need? With Cook, Mowatt, Murphy, Adeyemi, Bridcutt and Phillips all capable of playing the central midfield role, it seems a bit odd. Maybe Leeds are selling a central midfielder? Or maybe Evans just wants to add his own targets to a squad which wasn't inherited by him.
