The striker has bagged 7 goals in the qualification stage for Euro 2016. Only Thomas Muller (8) and Robert Lewandowski (10) have scored more, which is some record from the 27 year old. It has been suggested Leeds would like another striker as back-up to main man Chris Wood. You can't go wrong with strength in depth can you? I mean, look at Derby...they have Darren Bent, Chris Martin and Andreas Weimann competing for the top spot so on the whole, Kyle Lafferty would be a welcomed addition.
Leeds have five strikers in abundance;
Chris Wood
Micro Antenucci
Souleymane Doukara
Lee Erwin
Lewis Walters
However, it has been rumoured United would we willing to let Lewis Walters and Lee Erwin go out on loan to get regular game time under their belts. They're both still young with plenty to prove.
Lafferty has scored 70 goals in 321 appearances so going by those statistics, he can definitely score and stay free from injury. He is certainly well-known in the football league and his recent form would certainly bolster Leeds' attack.
