Cellino Relaxed Over Loan Signings

Leeds United manager Steve Evans has made it no secret of his intentions to add to his current squad in the loan window. However, it seems Cellino is relaxed over these deals as his future as Leeds owner becomes more uncertain.

Evans has made it absolutely clear he wants to bring in Norwich City striker Kyle Lafferty and Sunderland midfielder Liam Bridcutt. These deals have been talked about for two weeks now and there seems to be no serious movement made. Both players are keen to make the switch to Elland Road, however it logically seems Cellino is unwilling to finance the moves.

The Football League announced two days ago Massimo Cellino can still be active as owner of Leeds United until his appeal is heard. With the most likely outcome of his appeal being unsuccessful, he will be banned until next summer. This put pressure on the Italian to sell the club. He has already admitted six parties are interested in taking his stake in the club - with one of those parties being led by Leeds fan Steve Parkin.

Ask yourself this question, would you pump money into something you can't see yourself being involved with in the future? Probably not. With the majority of the fan base supporting a change of ownership, it's difficult to see Cellino will stick around for too long.

Will Evans get his loan signings financed? That's the major issue here. He seems uncertain about the whole situation which means there is a lack of communcation between him and the board of directors. Let's hope something is sorted soon, for the better of the club.
