Evans Confirms Leeds Bid

Leeds United manager Steve Evans has made it no secret of his intention to bring in new recruits this January transfer window. He is basically clinging onto his last bit of hope if he thinks Cellino is going to put his hand into his pocket...because we all know that isn't happening! Watch this space, i guess.

So, now onto the important part - Evans looking like he's just let one off at a family doo.

Seriously, he confirmed Leeds had bid for a winger but wouldn't specify who nor for how much. Leeds. Bid. Winger. Firstly, Cellino is actually willing to spend!? Jesus. I actually thought the lunatic was serious about leaving! You can repeat what Cellino has said but don't, I only want to hear it from his drunken and 'understandable' voice. Secondly, do Leeds really need a winger? Or do we just need Red Bull? That ought to bring in a few negative comments...

With Leeds superstar and saviour of world poverty, Sam Byram, looking like he wants to transfer to the hellhole that is Teesside...actually, he's probably too classy to go there. Isn't that right Sam? I think Cellino could do a better job of persuading him to stay than I could.

The Mirror did actually report about LEEDS LEEDS LEEDS and said Norwich want to swap Kyle Lafferty for Sam Byram. Are they having a Laff!? Worst pun of 2016. We all know Leeds can handle dealing with Norwich...I mean, it's not like we've screwed up a deal in the past *cough* Steve *cough* the shift *cough* Morison.

  1. I would'nt do a deal or any transfer business with Norwich City after their disgrace behaviour with Howson, Snodgrass and and co, encouraging players to tap their old playing mates up to join them is bad enough but their relentless persuit of Snodgrass and co bordered on bringing the game into disrepute, I really hope that they get relegated and never get promotion again, as for old Delia she can go do press ups in a field of stale chocolate eclair so haha, MOT.

  2. Cellino has put a massive amount of cash into Leeds and has spent a fair fem million on transfers, and to the guy who's wouldn't deal with Norwich; if it strengthens our squad or helps fire us to promotion who cares which club the players are from? All that matters is if they do a job for us.
