Leeds Face Stiff Competition For Striker

Leeds have turned their attentions to Celtic and Republic of Ireland Striker, Anthony Stokes. Evans made it clear he wanted to bring Kyle Lafferty to Elland Road however, Norwich manager Alex Neil was only keen on a permanent deal.

New reports suggest Leeds have moved up to North of the border in the hunt for a new striker target. 27 year old striker and hot-head, Anthony Stokes is the next in line on Evans' list.

It has been suggested that the Leeds manager could yet again miss out on his target due to stiff competition from Stokes' former club, Hibernian. If Leeds don't act soon enough, they will have no chance in signing him.

In other news, Leeds are pursuing Celtic teammate, Tom Rogic. Leeds value him between £700,000-£1m.
