Massimo Cellino Is A Waste Of Time

Originally, i was going to title this post as "Leeds United Are A Waste Of Time", but I thought it'd be fitting to include the man's name who has made our football club feel unloved. I have absolutely no time whatsoever for the owner of Leeds United Football Club. He is an absolute disaster and there is no coming back from it. A recent example is openly inviting manager's for an interview when clearly the managerial position is already filled by Steve Evans. The best thing Evans could do now is turn around to Cellino and disrespectfully tell him to jog on. However, he won't do that. Why? Because he has gratitude, respect and loyalty towards a cause which is questionably worth fighting for. The ghost that is Cellino, implemented plans to refund 25% of each and every fan who purchases a season ticket if Leeds don't reach the play-offs next season. Brilliant. I won't be buying. I'd rather spend my money elsewhere than support Cellino's unmotivated regime. No plans have been set in place to achieve play-off status. No confirmed head coach, no head of recruitment, no contracts offered to Charlie Taylor or Lewis Cook - the list goes on and on. He is treating LUFC like he is selling the club when in reality, doesn't seem to have any intention to do so. Leeds barely have any attractive assets to potential buyers, more liabilities than anything. As a result, a buyer should expect the valuation to be reasonable. Oh no! Cellino requires each investor to lay down £5 million before they can even look at the books. Not to mention his ridiculous £60 million valuation of the club. So don't let it fool you when he argues there is no buyers willing to come forward because as always, Massimo Cellino is the main problem and will never change his attitude or business dealings. Back to the manager, Cellino is looking to appoint someone on the cheap. Furthermore, a man who he can control. I'd say a head coach at a Sunday League football club gets more benefits than one at Leeds United, in terms of freedom. The majority of our managers under his reign have spent their time doing the garden. It infuriates me to see people still support him, I literally don't know why. He is driving the club into the ground and whilst other clubs have big plans in place to move forward, we are going through the same disatourou cycle we went through a year ago. What I'm trying to say is, get on board with timetogomassimo.com Although it's the summer transfer window, we can make a difference together. To further show the crook that I'd rather have my dog in charge than him. It's that bad.

  4. I`v had enough of the way this crank is treating the manager. I'm also fed up of how he attempts to insult supporters intelligence with stuff about refunds on season ticket sales etc if the club doesn't make the playoffs come 2017......he`s just pulling rabbits out of hats like a B list conjurer...and anyone who believes his guff wants taking to see the doctors

  5. I agree. Sad though it is but I have not fallen for Massimo's empty promises - he still gets the season ticket money for the year even if he has to hand some of it back. I used to pay for two season tickets but I will not come back until we have a published strategy for getting the club back into the Premier League which includes a a business plan. If this is published and the fans buy into it and we have a stable manager with experience of the Championship or Premier League we may then have a chance of making the jump to the big league again. Steve Evans did what was asked of him and deserves to be treated with respect. He is being treated worse than a dog but a man who thinks he knows how best to run a club when all the evidence is there that has hasn't got a clue.
